MacCamp April 21-23 2006

The Portland Macintosh User Group hosts its annual MacCamp from April 21-23. Steve Travis, president of MUGPort Usergroup in Newport will give a class on iStopMotion. Steve has a background in video and multimedia production. He also teaches video production and animation to local schoolchildren. Steve also is the Producer of the annual Lincoln County Student Film Festival. The class will be a repeat of the fun and popular class he taught at the 2005 Spring MacCamp.

New Office

We moved to new offices end of January. Unfortunately, the infrastructure had more problems than we would liked to have, so it kept us very busy the last couple of weeks. But now, most things are more or less back to normal and we can start to make ourselves comfortable. This is the view of the new offices from the outside:

Mac Familie 2006 Germany

Now this is a very interesting concept: Mac Familie is a sort of ad hoc Mac user group for mac enthusiastic families, meeting in various places across Germany (mostly youth hostels) for a weekend hosting Mac oriented seminars. The weekend costs about 90 €, bring your own computer and a sleeping bag. This year's program includes an iStopMotion seminar. (Found at Mac Essentials.)
