This week, Derrick tells you how iMovie is a great tool for recording voiceover tracks that you can add to your slideshows created in FotoMagico.

Meanwhile, the deadline for submissions to the FotoMagico Slideshow Showcase is coming nearer.

Ah, the names. "FotoMagico" is the result of a naming contest we hosted back when we first introduced the application. "Boinx" happened one night in 1996 when we were sitting in my parents living room pondering the future of Mac Software Development...

I hope I get everything right from looking at the websites. Ruori is a performance art collaborative. On this weblog they report about their efforts creating a new show for the electro-music 2006 festival at Cheltenham Art Center in Philadelphia. They do animation with iStopMotion. Nice pictures from the set. "Having realtime onionskin capabilities in software is so helpful." I hope they post the movies.

Boinx Software staff will be helping out Application Systems Heidelberg at their booth at the MacExpo Cologne, June 8th to 10th, 2006. We will be showing iStopMotion and FotoMagico which will also be on sale at the show. Free tickets are available from Apple, macnews.de and others.
