I think this program freaking rocks. I've used it to make a few movies already, and I think it's fantastic. I bought the program through MacHeist, and quickly upgraded to the Express version. This is a fantastic program, and I just wanted to offer my congratulations and thanks. Keep up the good work. If I could put a gold sticker on this the way we used to in Elementary School I would.

We bought 3 licenses for iStopmotion earlier in the year for our school projects at the Digital Media Centre and I just wanted to tell you what a success it's been. Since then, we've had five 3 day sessions with local schools, combining a day of stop motion with half a day of music making in Apple's Soundtrack application, and the schools just go wild for the results we've been getting. The main thing we find is that the students learn and understand the software so quickly, they can focus on their creativity and creating their animations, rather than the computer. I've put a couple of the movies we've made up on our web site.

I use iStopMotion in school arts residencies for clay animation and animation projects. Students of all ages quickly learn to capture, save, and transfer their work to video editing programs such as iMovie. Mistakes and reshoots are almost unheard of because of the 'onion skinning' feature. My residencies are often planned with only a week of student contact time, so I can't use a program that takes long time to learn. With iStopMotion the students are capturing their clay animation movements or animation drawings during the first session.

I always wanted to do some "Stop Motion" animation ever since seeing the ape in "King Kong" as well as "Jason and the Argonauts" and a few others that used this type of animation. I did some searches on the internet and found this wonderful company located in Germany called "Boinx" One of their products is called "iStopMotion." I can't tell how wonderful this software is! I highly recommend it if you have an interest in attempting "Stop Motion" THIS is the product you MUST have!!!
